Retail Building Proposed for Hoffman

Town Center Circle

The last remaining parcel on the retail circle at Hoffman Town Center is up for development at 2425 Eisenhower Avenue.  The proposed 7,882 sf building would have a sleek and modern appearance, and while no tenants have been announced yet, we hope there will be a new restaurant.  Public hearings are scheduled for December.  The site is near the movie theaters and existing restaurants.

Eisenhower Partnership Comments on Outfall Construction Program

The comment period recently closed for review of options for construction of remediation to the combined sewer outfalls near Eisenhower Avenue and in Old Town.  The Eisenhower Partnership sent in comments regarding Outfalls 003 and 004 located near Hooff’s Run at Duke Street.  Our comments addressed alternatives for reducing community impact to Carlyle/Eisenhower East, proposed an alternative method to haul waste from construction of tunnels, and expressed concern about the potential traffic burden from concurrent construction projects.  Of particular concern is the proposal to create a construction staging area at Holland Lane.  For a copy of the Eisenhower Partnership letter, please write to
