The 45,000 square foot Fire Station 210 on the west end of Eisenhower Avenue is now fully staffed and ready for emergency operations.   A paramedic team stationed there since spring has been replaced by a fire engine and its cross-trained crew, along with an EMS supervisor.

The city’s foam truck, which is used to battle ethanol-based fires, has been relocated from the Potomac Yard station to Eisenhower Avenue. Station 210 is close to the Norfolk Southern rail yard and its rail-to-truck transfer ethanol transloading facility.
